We are the Mini Flotilla pioneers
Our flotilla sailing option is a cross between a traditional flotilla with a dedicated lead boat and a bareboat charter. We call them mini flotillas because we like to keep things intimate by only having small groups of 3 or 4 yachts rather than the traditional 10 to 15 yachts like larger companies.
For flotilla sailing, we expect skippers to be certificated and able to manage most routine situations such as stern too mooring in port. However, if you are unsure what to do, one of our skipper/instructors won’t be far away to give advice on the radio, mobile phone or give direct assistance. Because we ask for a certain level of ability, this avoids the need to come into port early to ensure quayside slots, and means that you can stay out later in order to enjoy the afternoon breezes. We will do our best not to raft you like other commercial flotillas do. You wont be the inside yacht waiting all morning for 15 yachts to leave so you can go sailing.
Our mini flotillas give a sense of security to those new to skippering or who are in an area that’s new to them, because our skipper/instructors oversee the sailing and are never far away should you need them (even if bad weather was to come in). Should you have any maintenance problems, our skippers will be able to help you contact the relevant assistance. Please see our prices page for our details.
Our flotilla sailing yachts range in sizes from 30 to 50 feet with our very own yacht, Helena (check her out on the prices page). We are covered by a local 24 hour emergency breakdown service in case of any problems encountered whilst sailing.

“We came back for the sixth time to sail with Activity Holidays Greece and loved the chilled out end of season atmosphere. As always the holiday was a fabulous combination of sun, sea and sailing with the bonus of meeting old friends and new for dinner and drinks in the evenings. The Greek islands were stunning Ben and Shannon were skilled people skippers - learning is tailored to your own level of ability and how involved you want to be. - Cath Gregson”
“My best ever holiday. So cool. Great for teenagers and families. I got to spend loads of time with my dad, mates, learning to sail, swimming, sunbathing, snorkelling, diving, surfing on the SUP board etc. Sleeping on deck was brilliant and we stayed somewhere new every day. Superb from start to finish, and I've told dad we should only ever go with Ben”

“Awesome week sailing on Sandy G with Ben and my new ship mates.
As a solo traveller Activity Holidays provide the perfect environment to make new friends and reconnect with old ones. This was my third visit this year and the best so far. The skippers know my level and encouraged me to build on my skill and grow in confidence, also some great banter on-board and plenty of laughs during the process.
Under Ben's watchful eye, we did some really technical stuff including friendly racing, goose winging down channel and sailing on and off anchor. Thanks dude, can't wait until next season, I will be back!”
