Bareboat / Flotilla Charter

This option is where we supply the yacht and you sail it yourself.  We don’t automatically supply a skipper or crew and you take full responsibility for the safety of the yacht and its crew – although we can supply a Skipper and/or Hostess if requested.

Our latest addition to our own fleet is a Jeanneau 45DS.  She is a very tidy 2010 model that can comfortably accommodate 6 sailors.  We would be delighted to sail with you when you join our mini flotilla.

A difference from all other flotillas is that our professional skippers can guide, advise and instruct you every day, any time. On the water and off should you wish. Never stop learning and improving your skills as this makes for a more enjoyable holiday.

We also have a full range of Bavaria Yachts all 2000 and newer and use the age to reflect the price charged.  They range from 34ft to 50ft and are available for Bareboat / Flotilla Charter as well as Catamarans 38ft and 43ft’.  If you would like a newer yacht, please ask, as we maybe able to source one that will meet your requirements.

bareboatBareboat sailing allows experienced, certificated sailors to take a yacht and plan their own itinerary, although we are happy to help with suggestions if needed. We are also happy to provide a refresher on stern to mooring before your departure for additional confidence – just let us know in advance if you need this, so we can make sure we give you the time you need to practice.

To charter a Bareboat, the port authorities and our insurers require a skipper to have at least an RYA Day Skipper certificate or an International Certificate of Competence (ICC). At least one member of the crew must be experienced or certificated to a minimum Competent Crew level.

Should you not have the necessary certification, we can help you to obtain this via one of our training courses the week immediately before you charter a Flotilla or Bareboat, please follow the link to see what is involved Yacht Crew to Yacht Skipper

We provide 24 hour emergency breakdown services. Sailing is not allowed during night hours and the cruising area is restricted from Corfu in the North to Zakinthos in the South and into the Sea of Corinth. Subject to negotiation one way charters from/to Lefkas Island/Athens or Corfu can be arranged.

If you take a Bareboat, we encourage you to join us on our mini flotilla. Keeping it small means you get more assistance and friendly advice if needed.  Although our skippers are not there for maintenance, they will assist you in getting help should it be needed.

Refer to our Prices page for more details relating to the differing on-site payments depending on the yacht and programme booked.

We look forward to sailing with you!
