Halfway between Lefkada Town (17km north) where the island is connected by road bridge to the mainland, and Vassiliki (21km south) with it's ferry connection to Keffalonia, Nidri has it's own small ferry port with ferries to Keffalonia, Ithaka and Meganissi. Nidri has quite a good local bus service.

Unique Sailing Programmes in Greece

Our normal cruising area in the Ionian encompasses the islands of Lefkas, Meganissi, Kefalonia, Ithaka, Kastos, Kalamos and a couple of ports on the neighbouring mainland. The majority of sailing companies in this area follow this same route - making it not only popular but also crowded at times. To add a bit of adventure, spice, variety and space we shall be operating five two-week flotillas into the Sea of Corinth.

This will entail two longer non-stop passages of about eight hours each; but to compensate we shall be doing at least two one-day stop-over's for sightseeing some of the incredible antiquities that this area has to offer - such as Delphi and Ancient Corinth.

Stopping for a Break

The lead yacht(s) will be offering Cabin Charter for singles and couples on a virtually fully inclusive basis (breakfast, lunch, refreshments aboard and all yacht fees such as port papers, mooring charges, fuel, tanked water, bedding laundry and cleaning etc.) for the on-site cash payment of £250 per person. For those wanting instruction it will naturally be available; but this is really a gentle hands-on cruise aboard a sailing yacht for those looking for something that 'little bit different'. This is, of course, also available on the same basis as a Skippered Charter - where your family or group charters the whole yacht, not just a cabin or two on a shared boat.

Any experienced and certificated clients who wish to charter a yacht from us and join this unique flotilla are naturally able to do so. This is especially attractive to previous clients who would now like to spread their wings a bit and to sail to unknown parts of Greece. We will show you sights totally different from what you have been used to in the past and you will be able to see and experience the diversity of this wonderful ancient land and culture.
