In most European Countries to charter a flotilla or bareboat yacht, the port authorities and our insurers require the skipper to have at least a practical day-skipper certificate or equivalent experience - in both cases together with an ICC.

Your Language

Bareboat sailing allows experienced and certificated sailors to take a yacht and plan their own itinerary. Please check our requirements regarding experience/certification for the skipper and at least one member of the crew. In all our bareboat sailing regions there are emergency breakdown services, which can be called out (24 hours) - although sailing is not allowed during night hours and the cruising area is restricted from Corfu in the North to Zakinthos in the South and into the Sea of Corinth. Subject to negotiation one way charters from/to Lefkas Island/Athens or Corfu can be arranged. We have a full range of Bavaria Yachts (all 2000 and newer) from 30ft to 50ft available for Bareboat Charter. Please check out the yachts that are available and the experience/certification requirements for the skipper and at least one member of the crew.
