Sailing Holidays and Learn to Sail with us this summer
Activity Holidays Greece have been operating sailing holidays and Learn to Sail holidays in the Southern Ionian Islands for over twenty five years. We are a small, family run yacht charter company with our yachts based in Nidri on the island of Lefkas, Greece.
No telephone menus to negotiate, no trained sales people trying to sell you something you don’t want. From booking to sailing, it will be a member of our family that will help and advie.
When arriving you will meet the owner and lead Skipper, Ben (pictured here). Unlike a lot of professional skippers, Ben knew exactly what he wanted to do well before leaving college where he studied Adventure Sports. Taking his Yacht Master qualifications whilst sailing in Australia and New Zealand, he has been a sailing instructor in both the Dodecanese and the Southern Ionian Islands for the last 12 years. He is passionate about sailing and teaching and his CV includes European, Transatlantic, Caribbean and East Coast American passages, as well as regularly yacht racing while in the UK.
Our skippers speak fluent English and are fully qualified to provide support and guidance on your sailing holidays. We adhere to a Safe Sailing Policy that is paramount, without exception. To be commercially endorsed, our yachts have to adhere to very stringent equipment, maintenance and safety regulations and are inspected annually.
We are so excited to introduce Skipper Anton. A former lifeguard, school teacher and super yacht crew. Anton is now very excited to become our Skipper/Instructor for Activity Holidays Greece. As well as loving life on the water, he is a keen runner and cyclist in the hills, splitting his time between Yorkshire and Palma. He also has a degree in Sports Science, is there any end to this chaps talents?
Come and sail with the team this summer.
As a family run company, we strive to exceed our guests expectations.
We are small enough that we can tailor our route to our customers as well as the changing weather patterns if needed.
We specialise in Learn to Sail Holidays to help you ‘GET INTO SAILING’ in the Southern Ionian Islands, Greece. No matter what your sailing experience, we can always help you to improve your sailing ability, be it no experience whatsoever or a long standing sailor. We know our guests are individuals and we know everyone learns at different rates. Our aim is to ensure we deliver a fun, relaxing and enjoyable sailing holiday experience that will leave you wanting more.Bareboat Sailing in Greece
If you would like to take bareboat for your sailing holiday – we have access up to 100 different sized yachts for hire. When sailing around the Southern Ionian Islands, we encourage our bareboat guests to join us on our mini flotillas, where they have freedom, social interaction along with security of a small group.
See what people say about their sailing holidays with us.
“Our Symbolic Wedding - First I want to say a big Thank You for all the organizing you did for us. Our wedding was a big surprise and exactly how we wanted to do it. We had an amazing night and wouldn't have changed a thing. Ben did a incredible job, we were so happy.
The sailing week was great! We really enjoyed the new experience and we will be happy to promote Ben's company to our friends.”

“My best ever holiday. So cool. Great for teenagers and families. I got to spend loads of time with my dad, mates, learning to sail, swimming, sunbathing, snorkelling, diving, surfing on the SUP board etc. Sleeping on deck was brilliant and we stayed somewhere new every day. Superb from start to finish, and I've told dad we should only ever go with Ben”

“5 STARS - This is the 4th trip we've done with Activity Holidays Greece and the 1st since Ben took over the business.
If you want to sail the Ionian bareboat but with the comfort blanket of knowing experienced skippers are only a radio shout away and always on hand to assist with mooring then you can't fault these guys.
Small enough to care but big enough to cope sounds like a worn out tune but it really does sum them up.
Ben likes to run no more than about 5 boats in his flotilla - his own 2 for sail training and the others bareboat or with an experienced skip onboard.
We'll definitely be back next year.”
